this is quite obviously a young person's poem, written by a young person...but i think you just may have some talent. what you do to nurture and feed that talent is another story...if you have any aspirations for your poetry, i suggest you read as much poetry as possible...and i'm not talkinbg about poetry posted on internet sites, because that's generally of very dubious quality, and can often lead to bad literary habits. no, i'm talking about the stuff you'll find in your classes as well as the stuff you'll uncover on your own. not only the classics (because in order to move forward you MUST understand the past and know why we are where we're at right now.) you've also got to know the leading edge contemporary writers...you MUST be familiar with people like Charles Bukowski (google his famous poem Blue Bird)...and others who are widely published but a little more difficult to find...people like Lyn Lifshin and Gerald Locklin, both of whom have published more than 120 books each on all subjects, but mostly poetry. both of them over the years have each published more than 3,000 poems in books and magazines around the world...bukowski is estimated to have had over 7,000 published poems, although the exact number will never be known. i could give you tons of names that would be beneficial to your studies and readings, but those three are as good a place as any to start for contemporaries (even though bukowski's been dead 10 years or so, he's still THE MAN to read. still the cutting edge.).
take care...and again...read. broaden your horizons...expand your work beyond the "i like you, do you like me" sort of stuff. i think you're capable of doing it.
