| I don't know much about the politics of business, small or otherwise but the gas prices have been high, why? Because we can't get all the imports we once did? Because Bush ruined an already horrid relationship with other countries?
I don't really know but what I do know is, it is hard living on a fixed budget to have to worry about whether I'm going to make it to the next gas station. Or better yet when I get there worrying about whether the two dollars and seventeen cents I had in the cup holder is going to be enough to last me till Friday. The prices are ridiculously high! I'm sure everyone complains or at least knows someone who complains about gas prices. So why am I complaining in an open forum? Because I wanted to! :P I needed to get it off my chest and this seemed like the best place to do it.
What do you know about the gas prices? Why are they so high? (I was however quite surprised that they'd gone below $4 today, yay! Will the gas prices keep dropping?)

| Yesterday it was at $3.99 and today it was at $3.97, is this going to be the trend? Will the prices continue to drop or not? | |

| Hey, everyone wanted a world economy. The democrats keep wanting to open the borders and give away our technology. The republicans want businesses to go global so we can access everyone else's market and they can access ours. Well, you got it. Everyone is now playing our game, and the competition is fierce. There is only so much oil however, and it IS NOT OURS (because certain people won't let us drill for it), so we have to pay for it.
Truthfully, I just laugh at the idiots and their policies. They want us to get off oil and into cleaner technologies, but they protest nuclear, complain about wind ruining the landscape, and petition against solar that steals the sun from reaching the plants. I believe they simply like to promote trouble.
