| What gets you going? What keeps you going? IF you were looking for inspiration to keep writing or keep crating, what kind of things would you look for, or find uplifting? | |

| That's a set of simple, but very tough questions.
What often gets and keeps me going is in equal measures the people who believe in my and appreciate what I'm trying to do (most of these people don't need to be named, but Natalie deserves special thanks) and those who'd like to see my fail (these people don't deserve to be named, but I thank them all the same).
Now, for inspiration, I can't really say where all of it comes from. I'll usually turn to emotional driven music/lyrics when I'm feeling not so inspired, but I can't fairly say it's the songs that are inspiring me. I think for the most part my inspiration comes from the fact that the sorts of books and stories I want to read don't exist yet.

| What gets you going? I just go. I really don't know, but I tell those that ask that it is simply defiance. Putting it into words most around me understand - The Bible tells the story of the maids that go out to look for more oil, then comes back with the Lord of the house saying, "I know you not." Well, I am going to make certain that God knows who I am. If I don't make it into Heaven, it will be because God says, "ROBY, I know you, but you cannot come in."
What keeps you going? I like what I do. I enjoy writing. I enjoy playing on computers. I enjoy the games that I play. I don't really enjoy teaching, but it is actually a job that interfers the least with my other activities.
IF you were looking for inspiration to keep writing or keep crating, what kind of things would you look for, or find uplifting? I answer this question all the time. I see what other people are doing, and I don't like it or feel that I can do better myself. If I slow down on my writing, I go to the bookstore and buy a book. Playing computer games drives me to write one of my own. I am not going to live in somebody else's version of Heaven, and really don't want to live in somebody else's version of this world.
