Look Back
When not able to write ahead, it helps to look back. In my case I had written a paragraph ahead of the story. What I needed to do was add a section of exposition (talking) presenting some facts. In going back, I realized that I could insert a section where a 'tour' of the surroundings could be done. This allowed for character interaction, story development, and other things that enabled me to present the facts in an entertaining manner.
One should not face a writer's block with the mentality of bursting through it. I have found in my own experience that a writer's block is usually due to my mind indicating that it has a problem in 'channeling' the story. One reason might be a re-imagining of certain story points. Another reason however is that there is a problem in where you are at in the story, so you need to look back and find out the problem with the 'journey' that prevents the tale from advancing.

| I want to know what would you do if you received a million dollars tax free? You can do anything, so splurge. | |

| Well now a day a million isn't as much as it used to be. I mean a million is a million, but you know what I mean.
I'd definitely buy a truck. buy my family members something nice and then save the rest.

| I have two words for you; candy and porn! What ever you expecting something enlightened? Seriously, I'd buy a house, pay off the car, and put the rest in saving and spend it slowly on whatever else we might need... which of course brings me back to candy and porn. | |

| I would finally move on my family property. I could afford to run the lines to where I want my home, and generally get things where I could be comfortable. That is it. | |

| I'd buy a 34 ft Airstream Toy Hauler with a Pop Out, a Dodge 2500 Diesel to haul with, and two scooters, perhaps a 4 wheeler or a golf cart, depends.
Then, I guess some really nice gifts to the family members that were there for me when I really needed it and then I'd spend the million dollars till I need to work again, which might be a whole lotta years.

| What I would do with a million dollars? If I could not use it in any good way such as giving it to charity, donating it to different organizations, then I would burn my million dollars. And that is an if I had nothing to do with the money. I find it would be better to use it for something good then greedy. To buy a bunch of video games, or that house I have always wanted would seem greedy to me. I'm buying my dream with money. I bought my dream. And that just doesn't feel right, if I cannot give it to people or cannot use it in a desirable way its best destroyed. Money doesn't make people happy. Money is just a tool used by the corrupt. | |

You young man need to spend about a year living on your own, and no I don't mean away from home in a collage dorm, I mean truly on your on and in the real world where you work all day and come home to bills and more work. Then, maybe, I'd take seriously what you have to say about giving away money and/or burning it because buying a roof for you and yours to sleep under is "greedy". I'm sure you're going to say you didn't "mean" it to come across as rude and we're all just misunderstanding you again, but that is the most jackassy thing I think I've every heard anyone say/type.

I'm sure you're going to say you didn't "mean" it to come across as rude and we're all just misunderstanding you again, but that is the most jackassy thing I think I've every heard anyone say/type. Did you read what I said? Or did you just put a whole new twist on it. I said: "Buying the house I wanted" Key word wanted. A house that is unnecessary, cost a bunch a money, maybe called a mansion, twelve gardens, golden toilets, golden fountains. A house that will do no good, but to look there and be pretty. And be a house that makes me look like I am flaunting all my cash around and saying "you can't have this." That is the house I am talking about. A dream, I see many people who use this kind of money to buy their dreams. That unnecessary house, that unnecessary large collection of video games you drool for, that horse you have always wanted. Putting money to buy a dream is unnecessary money and needs to be destroyed. Men can become corrupt over money. Money makes men think they have some sort of power over people. Money makes men think they can control people. Money used as power or used to buy dreams should be destroyed. If I had a practical use for it such a giving it to some people or buying something that is necessary then there is need to for the money. But if there is no practical use for it and all it does is lead to corruptions its better off destroyed. This is my view on money since I have had a hard time with money. When my family was in Greece, my dad had received a large sum of money, larger then what the family usually got, and my uncle held my family at gun point because he wanted the money to buy his dreams. To use money as power, to use money to buy a unnecessary dream is greedy.

| Ok, so lets take this a different way for all concerned. How about when you've worked, and worked hard to get said million dollars, then what would you do for it?
Money isn't bad in any degree, people are bad. When people are greedy things can get out of hand, but for those who don't have much to start out with have every right to splurge.

| Pay off college for myself, and a few other people I know. Then, save or invest the rest.
You know, having a zero balance is the new rich. I can live with that.
