At least...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. You can't make me say anything different.
Okay...about me. What to say without making you run away from me screaming in fear....

I'm 24 and have carpel tunnel which limits just how often I sit at my computer to write. But...that sure as heck doesn't stop me from sitting at my computer and procrasinating by checking out places like this.
Actually...I was invited here, so that's kinda cool ya know? Gave a boost to my battered ego...
I write many genres, but love to pieces stories with homosexual or bi characters. I'm a major slash/yaoi/shonen-ai (Boys love) fan. I got into it first by reading manga that my girlfriend had. (I hope I insult no one and if they wish, I will edit this.) Then I started reading stuff on the net. Found a few sites such as AFF.net and GA.
I'm always looking for a new site to help boost with good stories but very picky. I've only joined like 1 site since I've started to look a year ago, even though I've seen hundreds already.

I write, I look for work and I try to live life, even with constant pains. I have a good size fan base for my stories, even though, now that I've been working on it for nearly 6 months, I can already see ways to make it better.
I do a lot of mythical creature research in between reading, writing and other things that take up my day.

If there are any questions, please, feel free to ask them and if I can, I will answer.

I'm obviously just kidding, welcome to the board. Everyone here I've found is fairly accepting of everyone else; so far anyway.

I knew Hydra and I think bi-sexuality is hot!

And just like anyone else no matter of sexual orientation who is here, are here for the same reason because we are writers. Meeting new people is great, sharing our work and/or getting advice, etc.. is even better. I understand about the carpal tunnel, its killer.

Yes I did know that and I don't have a problem with that; never had, never will. People have the right to be who they are; if bi, gay or whatever.

Anyway...Welcome to the board Rose. I liked your introduction...Something totally different than I've seen on here.

Carpal tunnel is killer. It's a problem that happens in the wrist. I can't remember names, but various muscles and vessels seize and inflame to a point that is painful. It can be fixed by surgery, or going to a chriopractor, which I will do when I have money. But it forces me to be careful of how much I write, how I position my wrists, ect. My left is surprisingly worse then my right wrist considering I'm right handed.

Okay, Slash, yaoi and shonen-ai (or boys love) originated in Japan. Well, I should say, Boys Love did. BL was the first stage, and was mostly meant for girls. But males do get in on the action to. Then came Yaoi, which is a western term and style for BL. Slash is the americanized way of Yaoi and BL.

It boils down to....male/male relationships. It's all about the gay or bi male characters. There is a female off set, which is known as Yuri, but I'm not so much a fan of Yuri...
