So, yeah, got an email today, somone from here inviting me to join, so I did.
My real name is Ashleigh, I'm 18, soon to be 19 in the next week or so.
I'm going to be a freshman at Michigan State University this fall, working towards a major in Prevet, then hopefully attending grad school for Veterinary Medicine, I hope to be able to open my own clinic specializing in small and large animals here in michigan.
Writing is just a hobby of mine and I don't really ever see anything I write getting published or my making money off of it, my muses are too unpredictable for that.
Anything that I post online is here strictly for reader's enjoyment, I just ask that if you have a problem with what I write you tell me and give me some ideas as to how to fix any problems, just telling me my spelling and grammar sucks doesn't really help. You could instead say, In this spot you could check over your spelling and grammar, or telling me thigns are worded awkwardly or that my style in certain spots doesnt fit helps. I need specifics though.
I hope you all check out my story, Laevus Levus, it started out as a Creative Writing assignment last december and seemed to pick up a mind of its own. the first five chapters wrote themselves practically, six and seven were more difficult. Eight (Which I've been working on since last April) is provinjg to be a terrible monster to write... so don't expect anything soon.
So, please, constructive critisism is needed and wanted.
