 | Subject: October's Writing Prompt October 3rd 2010, 4:58 pm | |
| Once again the month of October has rolled around and that means we have something spooky prepared for you. It's your choice to either write a poem or just a continuation of the story I'll be giving you. Remember to involve the following key words in your work: Death, Alive, Scared, Horror, Slaughter, Buried, Rain, Wet, Cold, I Want To Play A Game...
...in the middle of the haunted Woods, known for its slaughtering and burying alive. So how long can you hold your breath? It doesn't matter because you haven't lived until you've been scared to death. The moon is shining through the thickness of the trees and only a small part of light is reflecting on the ground. In the distance you hear the wind blowing through the branches and footsteps moving closer by the crunching sound of fallen leaves. You feel blood sliding down the side of your face, dripping slowly onto the top of your shirt. Your left shoulder is dislocated and your right foot is only hanging on by a single tendon. Never in your life have you felt pain as intense as right now and if it wasn't for the thick and heavy chain that's tied around your neck and torso, you'd run like hell. Judging from the loud breathing close to you, you know that you're no longer alone. You can make out a muscular and tall figure to your left, smelling like blood and sweat, and behind it a muddy pile with an opening next to it. Its huge hand reaching out for you and you try to move away and scream, but instead you're just lying there in shock, not able to move a single muscle. After a while... You open your eyes, not knowing where you are. Looking around doesn't help, because you can't see anything but darkness. All of a sudden you notice something that scares the hell out of you... _________________ |
